The Percival Pembroke is a British, twin-engine, high-wing transport aircraft with a classic tail, which was created as a modification of the Percival Prince design. The power unit consisted of two Alvis Leonides 127 engines, 540HP each. The first prototype was flown in 1952. a year later, the aircraft replaced the Avro Anson in the RAF as a light freighter. Six of the aircraft were produced as photographic reconnaissance units, other versions were adapted for communication and transport for the RAF and Royal Navy. The Sea Prince T.Mk1 model is a navigation and training submarine destroyer aircraft used by the Royal Navy. The last Percival Pembroke was decommissioned in 1988. and only 45 aircraft of this type were produced in total.
