The Focke Wulf Fw-58 Weihe (German: kania) is a German, twin-engine, multi-role multi-task aircraft in a low wing design from the Second World War. The Fw-58 was initially designed as a passenger plane and in this role, the first flight of the machine took place in 1935, but the Luftwaffe became interested in it relatively quickly, which led to its introduction into military service in 1937. Production continued until 1942. The Fw-58 was powered by two Argus As 10c in-line engines with 240HP each. During the course of the war, several versions of this aircraft were created. The Fw-58B-1, Fw-58C and Fw-58Ki-2 versions were used as passenger, transport and courier aircraft. The B-2 version is a light bomber with a low load capacity of 250 kg bombs and armed with 3 MG15 machine guns. The Fw-58S, on the other hand, played the role of a sanitary aircraft. After World War II, the Fw-58s were used in Czechoslovakia and the USSR as transport and civil aircraft. Technical data: length: 14m, wingspan: 21m, height: 4.3m, maximum speed: 256 km / h, maximum range: 676 km.
