The AMO F-15 was a Soviet light truck from the interwar period. The presentation of the model took place in 1924 - in the same year mass production began, which lasted until 1931. The car was powered by a single 4-cylinder in-line engine with a capacity of 4.4 liters and 35 HP. The engine was synchronized with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The load capacity of the car was 1,500 kilograms.
The AMO F-15 was developed under the license of the Italian FIAT 15-Ter truck. It is often assumed that the completion of the first AMO F-15 on November 1, 1924 is the birth day of the Soviet automotive industry. It is worth adding that the first production series of this truck were made largely by hand and the mechanization of production progressed only with time. Overall, the AMO F-15 was very simple in design, but was therefore cheap to produce. For example - almost the entire cab was made of wood, and it was only in 1928 that the roof was replaced with a wooden one. The car was produced in many varieties, including: a fire engine, an ambulance or a typical delivery truck. The chassis of this truck was also used in the production of BA-27 armored cars. The F-15 model was replaced by the AMO-2 car.
The models are digitally printed - some adhesives can dissolve the ink!
Paint in digital printing can be dissolved by certain types of adhesives like butaprene and similar on the same solvents. Before bonding, it is advisable to try the adhesive used on a barely visible part of the model.
